1066 anniversary: Children's fun day in Bexhill

For the event on Sunday (October 16), children are being invited to dress up as knights or princesses, with the winners receiving a Royal Mint presentation pack of the new Battle of Hastings 50p coin.
Bexhill Museum curator Julian Porter will be giving a talk about the Battle of Hastings.

Hide AdSussex Falconry will have a bird of prey stand, showing some of the birds from the era, Bexhill Lions will be hosting some games, plus there will be a bouncy castle, soft play, face painting, sand play and food stall.
The event will take place between noon and 4pm.
Entry is free.
The event is being organised by community group Shining Lights (Bexhill Ltd).
