Passionate music from Pyrenees
Think The Gipsy Kings but even hotter. Tekameli are bringing the Mediterranean to The Stade, Hastings, on May 18.
The group plays passionate Catalan music from the southern foot of the Pyrenees.
The name Tekameli means ‘I love you’ in Calo, the language of the gitans, or gypsies, of Spain.

Hide AdSuch a rich cultural heritage is reflected in their repertoire, which ranges from the haunting ‘cantiques’ to flamenco-influenced up-tempo songs.
The performance starts at 7.30pm, and is part of the free Stade Saturdays season of free events on The Stade.
