Hide AdDr Tim Kimber, partner at the surgery on St. Floras Road, Littlehampton, said the facility will take pressure off existing A&E departments in Chichester and Worthing.
He said: “We send hardly anybody over to A&E in Worthing. We see and treat almost all patients that come to us.”
The surgery has been running a minor injuries service for several years, and won a contract from the Department of Health to upgrade it.
