Hastings staff members step in to help care home workers

The equipment has been sent to help staff at Crest House Care Home and A1 Quality Homecare.
More than 15 team members from the auto parts store showed their support by making a financial contribution.

Hide AdHaving raised £100, the team has been able to supply 300 face masks, 700 plastic car seat covers, 10 litres of hand sanitiser and surface disinfectant, 250 pairs of gloves and a large supply of blue roll, to help protect key workers against the spread of coronavirus.

The team is now working to support the wider community, with staff gathering food products and other items to donate to local homeless shelters.
Paul Astell, Branch Manager at Euro Car Parts Hastings, said: “Everyone on our team has friends or family in front-line roles, and we know how hard they are working to keep our loved ones safe.
"We hope that by playing a small part we can assist the national effort to overcome this pandemic.”
