Mayor chats about role to pre-school children

Children aged two to five at Ferring Funtime Pre-school were interested to see the chain of office and Mr McDonald explained it was more than 125 years old.

Hide AdJacqui Page, office administrator, said: "The mayor met and chatted to the children and was happy to answer questions about his role.
"The pre-school is keen to make links with the community to support children’s understanding of rules and responsibilities within other professions."
