Horley school given tools for their Forest School
and live on Freeview channel 276
Fairfax Properties visited the school as part of their Building Young Futures initiative and provided them with some new equipment and tools.
Headteacher Simon Potten said: “We are delighted and very grateful to Fairfax Properties for providing this latest batch of equipment to enable us to deliver the Forest School programme.

The Forest School is less a woodland skills class and more a specialised approach that allows students to re-engage with and control their own learning. The Forest School Association explain it as follows:
“Forest School is an inspirational process that offers ALL learners regular opportunities to achieve, develop confidence and self-esteem, through hands on learning experiences in a local woodland or natural environment with trees.”
