“We are not only growing as a business, we are training young people, working to inspire fellow local businesses and doing our bit for the community.
“We deserve to win the award because we have put West Sussex on the map when it comes to our industry – but are determined to remain as a Worthing business booming thanks to our work and links with local people.”
The company was started by Mr Painter as a one-man operation based in his garage.

Hide AdIt has developed from being a small business working solely with local customers to becoming one of the leading SME e-commerce developers in Europe.
It has worked with a wide range of organisations from places like Northbrook College locally, to Manchester City Football Club and the International Olympic Committee nationally.
Mr Painter said: “In the last year, two of our biggest successes have been with the IOC and Manchester City, but our work for both is so hush-hush we can’t say any more.
“What we can say is that those contracts have helped lead to growth of more than 100 per cent in 2014/15 already, compared to 2013/14, which was itself the third successive year of growth for the company.”

“We are very aware of the hurdles in starting, running and growing a successful business, and very much want to help the next generation by passing on some of the skills we’ve learned along the way,” Mr Painter added.
Nominations have opened across 15 categories, from green business to business personality, with prizes to be presented at Worthing Pavilion on November 14.
