A solar farm that will provide electricity for 1,700 homes in a year is being proposed for a site near Partridge Green.

Hadstone Energy Ltd, which is aiming to submit a planning application to Horsham District Council before the end of the year, hosted an exhibition at the village hall yesterday (Tuesday December 3).

The aim of the exhibition was to answer any questions that people may have about the planned development at Priors Byne Farm, off Honeybridge Lane.

Project manager Emma Siddons said: “The council have been quite demanding but I think we are working quite well with them.

“I hope they would be quite pleased with what we need to do to make it work for the community.”

Ms Siddons said the company was hoping people would approve of the plans.

The solar panels would be 2.5m high on a site covering 18 hectares.
