High Beeches in Handcross shortlisted for Garden of the Year award

The eight finalists for 2021 were chosen from Historic House member properties in the UK and the winner will be decided by a public vote at www.historichouses.org.
High Beeches in Handcross was established more than 100 years ago by Colonel Giles Loder.

Hide AdSince 1968 it has been managed by the Boscawen and Bray family.
It is a woodland garden of the High Weald and contains rare trees and plants, including narcissi, camellias and magnolias.
The attraction is also known for its azaleas, rhododendrons and bluebells and is home to many birds, insects, butterflies and dragonflies.
The garden is open from April 1 to October 31, 1pm to 5pm, and is closed on Wednesdays.
