Analysing over 5.5 million happiness surveys, a recent global study undertaken by job site Indeed found that our town is the fifth happiest place to work in the country.
According to the landmark research by the global job site more than a third of the UK workforce is unhappy in their job.

Hide AdThe average British worker can spend a fifth of every year feeling unhappy in their role, and even one in 10 new starters can feel unhappy in the first six months of a new job.
Unhappiness in the workplace isn't restricted to 9-5 - it has a knock-on effect on Britons' personal lives too.
Over a quarter (28%) admit they struggle to find enjoyment in other aspects of their lives due to feeling unhappy at work, while one in five (22%) have taken work frustrations out on their partners.

Hide AdProviding workers with a clear sense of purpose and a space in which they can achieve most of their goals, whilst feeling supported, are the biggest drivers behind the happiness of workers.
Crawley Town Centre Bid manager Wendy Bell told ITV: "You can do pretty much what you want to here. We have a fantastic college, fantastic employers and there is something for everybody in Crawley."
