Parking restriction work completed in Eastbourne town centre
Cornfield Road was closed to traffic last Sunday (March 28) as East Sussex Highways contractors carried out the work.
East Sussex County Council said contractors had been waiting for the temperature to rise so lines could be painted on parts of the granite road surface.

Hide AdParking wardens have been unable to enforce restrictions in parts of the road as the lines had not been painted.
That led to food delivery drivers parking in disabled bays and motorists parking dangerously on street corners.
Pay to park machines in the road remain covered up until Wednesday..
