Hat Fitz & Cara play Emsworth
The pair are over from their Queensland base for their seventh tour in as many years and with a critically-acclaimed fifth album, produced by Jeff Lang, Do Tell in hand.
Promoter Mark Ringwood said: “Onstage they’re an unlikely pairing as ‘Fitzy’ is a stereotypical Ned Kelly-lookalike with a dry Australian sense of humour whilst his wife Cara quickly cuts him down to size with her Ulster charm and classy vintage looks.

A few years ago he nearly lost his life when, having ‘had a few tinnies’ he was attacked by a saltwater crocodile. The experience was enough for him to permanently give up alcohol.
“In contrast Cara enjoyed a career as both a piper and drummer in a range of bands in Northern Ireland before a chance encounter brought them together.”
Hat Fitz & Cara take to the stage at 8pm. Tickets in advance from Harbour Records (Emsworth), and the venue, for £12.50.
