Dancers helpboost charities
More than 200 dancers came together, for the event, a dance competition in aid of Advance Centre and The Earlybirth Association (supporting Trevor Mann Baby Unit).
The event is organised by Claire Heffernan and Maddie Smith, who invite schools, dance and theatre schools and dance teams from across Sussex and Surrey to join in.

Hide AdClaire said: “Scheduled to take place before Christmas, the show had to be postponed due to the adverse weather conditions, but The Triangle kindly agreed to reschedule and again gave the venue free of charge.
“The dancers from all over Sussex and Surrey and of all ages, abilities and styles - from Bollywood to street and hip and hop - performed in front of an audience of over 450 people and helped to raise nearly £4,000, which will be split equally between the two supported charities.
“There were two categories to compete in, novelty or serious, and the audience decided on the winners by voting for their favourites. In both sections the winners were from Spoony’s who brought dancers from Seaford to participate.
Runners-up in both categories were from Burgess Hill-based VBDance.”
Claire and Maddie are already planning the next show.
